PUBLISH WITH US
In our continuing effort to foster critical scholarship and make significant academic works accessible to a wider audience, we are pleased to invite submissions for publication.
A New Academic Initiative
It is with great pleasure that we announce a new initiative to publish academic works in collaboration with the Center for Critical Studies (CCS), New Delhi.
This initiative seeks to provide a platform for scholars to publish their Master’s or PhD theses, as well as other academic works that contribute to critical and interdisciplinary discourses. It aspires to cultivate a space for rigorous inquiry, intellectual independence, and meaningful engagement with both tradition and contemporary thought.
Our Vision
Continuously widening our academic and intellectual horizons, we have a strong record of publishing works by distinguished international scholars, including René Guénon, Ali Shariati, Prof. Seyyed Hossein Nasr, Ziauddin Sardar, Prof. Osman Bakar, and Syed Naquib al-Attas, among others. Nationally, we have published works by Syed Sadatullah Hussaini, Prof. Obaidullah Fahad, Dr. Zaki Kirmani, and Dr. Mohammad Rizwan, to name a few.
We are always looking to broaden the scope of the subjects we engage with and to publish new and exciting ideas that challenge conventional frameworks and inspire critical thought.
What We Publish
Our titles are multidisciplinary, critical, and alternative in scope, with a strong emphasis on perspectives rooted in or engaging with Islamic thought. However, there are no rigid boundaries to what we publish. We seek to promote groundbreaking research in emerging and underexplored subject areas, welcoming ideas and manuscripts that defy disciplinary limits yet align with our core intellectual focus.
Our publications have previously engaged with themes such as:
- Islamic Thought and Intellectual Tradition
- Philosophy, Theology, and Ethics
- Sociology and Anthropology of Religion
- Politics, Law, and Society
- Education, Pedagogy, and Knowledge
- Culture, Aesthetics, and Representation
- History, Memory, and Modernity
- Economy, Development, and Justice
- Science, Technology, and Surveillance
- Language, Literature, and Translation
- Coloniality, Decoloniality, and Postcolonial Thought
- Muslim Societies and Contemporary Challenges
- Interdisciplinary Methodologies and Critical Approaches
- Morality, Gender & Sexuality
- and other emerging or unexplored themes aligned with our vision.
Review and Publication Process
We follow a democratic and rigorous review process, ensuring that each proposal receives the attention it deserves.
- All proposals are first evaluated for their originality, scholarly merit, and relevance by our in-house editorial team.
- Selected proposals may also be reviewed by external academic specialists for further assessment.
- Once a proposal is accepted, a publication contract is signed and a timeline is agreed upon for the process.
- All manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review following submission. Authors and editors are given the opportunity to revise their work based on reviewers’ feedback before final publication.
Publication and Distribution
All accepted titles will be published in India and distributed nationwide, ensuring broad academic reach and accessibility. Our publications maintain high production standards, using quality materials and professional design to enhance readability and durability. With an established network of distributors, institutions, and bookstores across India, we ensure that each title reaches scholars, students, and readers throughout the country.
How to Submit
Scholars interested in publishing with us are invited to share their details, along with their manuscript (if ready), or to reach out with queries and expressions of interest.

We look forward to engaging with emerging and established scholars in this academic publishing collaboration.
